2019 Reserve Cabernet Franc

Bone dry and medium-bodied, this wine boasts intriguing flavors of delicate herbs and spices, crushed gravel, red plums and roasted peppers. Prosciutto and burrata, garlicky grilled sausages, lentil soup or a hearty lasagna would all pair exceedingly well with this flavorful and nuanced wine.
This bright and lively 2018 Cabernet Franc shows layers and depth, even at a relatively young age. Scents of new leather and cigar box are gently balanced by distinctive hints of fresh berry fruit and soft cedar. On the palate, red fruit, bing cherries, cola and smoke are bound beautifully together by fine, silky tannins. This wine begs for tender short ribs, hearty winter stews or classically prepared rack of lamb.
