2021 Reserve Chardonnay
Staying true to the vineyard at Bien Nacido, this expression of Chardonnay has a beautiful, aromatic nose that smells of citrus, green apples and freshly picked tropical fruit. Flavors of wet slate, sweet pear tart, and mouth-watering Meyer lemon dominate this bottling, with strong hints of butter and cream on the silky-smooth finish. Enjoy this bottle on its own, or pair it with a lemon, butter & rosemary chicken with pasta, or perhaps a dessert with exotic fruits and cream.
Luxurious aromas of honey, sweet pears, cream and macadamia nuts. Rich, nutty and buttery flavors are largely present from the malolactic fermentation and new French oak, but accompanying structure and acidity pleasantly balance this wine with secondary notes of green apple and meyer lemon.
